Supporting Fishermen with 200 Medicine Cabinets: A Lifeline for Phuoc Hai and Loc An Fishing Villages
In an effort to support local fishermen, we recently launched a fundraising campaign that successfully raised over 20,000,000 VND. Through the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide 200 fully equipped medicine cabinets and essential medical supplies to the fishermen of Phuoc Hai and Loc An fishing villages.

These medicine cabinets are a crucial resource, offering immediate access to first aid and basic healthcare while at sea. The unpredictable nature of fishing means that injuries and health issues can arise at any moment. With limited access to medical facilities, these supplies serve as a vital lifeline for the fishermen, ensuring that they can treat minor injuries, prevent infections, and manage common ailments while away from the shore.
Beyond providing supplies, we also conducted workshops to guide the fishermen and their families on the correct use of medications and first aid practices. These sessions focused on handling specific situations, such as cuts, burns, and dehydration, empowering the community with essential health knowledge.
